I am a BAPT® play therapist based in Bristol. I provide play therapy to children aged 3 and up who need some extra support finding their way through their emotions.
I have over 10 years experience working with children and young people in various settings from a range of backgrounds; such as children who have experience of the care system, children with disabilties, children who have experienced trauma and children who are struggling emotionally.

What is Play Therapy?
Child-Centred Play Therapy helps children work through emotional, behavioral, or social challenges using play - their natural language.Just like adults talk about their feelings in therapy, children often express their thoughts and emotions through play. In play therapy, a trained therapist creates a safe, warm, and accepting space where your child can play freely and be themselves.

Children often don’t have the words to explain what they’re going through. But in play, they can:
-Act out scary or confusing experiences
-Express big feelings like anger, fear, sadness, or joy
-Try out solutions to problems in a safe way
-Build confidence, trust, and self-esteem
Play allows children to explore their world and feelings in a way that feels natural and non-threatening.
